"Planets" was one of the commercials to launch "Super Mario Galaxy 2". Originally it was intended to air only in Hispanic Market media, but the client liked it so much that it aired on Fox during the last episode of The Simpsons.
The whole production was completed in only 3 weeks (a very tight deadline based on the complexity of the visual effects involved). We spent endless rendering sessions in Seattle with the Superfad team. Luckily we had plenty of great coffee to keep us awake.
